Looming over the historic Ba Dinh Square and attracting a global audience everyday paying their respect, the Ho Chi Minh Mauseoleum is the resting place of President Ho Chi Minh's embalmed remains, and is part of the complex that hosts the President's official, yet humble residence, and a museum documenting his life dedicated to the country's independence and transformation.
Visitors to the Mausoleum and the complex also enjoy peaceful walks around the serene fish ponds and lush gardens, many trees in which President Ho Chi Minh planted himself during his time in office.
