Hanoi – Stellar Steakhouse, Hanoi’s premium meat lover's club at InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72, has been recognized by Wine Spectator’s 2020 Best of Award of Excellence for its outstanding wine cellar.
Wine Spectator, anchored by Wine Spectator magazine that reaches more than 3 million readers worldwide, is the leading authority on wine and wine cultures. In 2020, Wine Spectator honors 3,800 restaurants throughout the globe for their outstanding dedication to wine. Stellar Steakhouse is recognized in the category of Best of Award of Excellence, which recognizes restaurants whose wine lists display excellent breadth across multiple wine-growing regions or significant vertical depth of top producers, along with superior presentation.
In celebration of the award, Stellar Steakhouse hosted a special Wine Spectator Award Celebration Dinner on 25th September featuring 6 top wine suppliers in town: the Warehouse, VIVA House of Wine, Malthop Vietnam, DaLoc Wines, Vinifera Hanoi and Red Apron Fine Wines and Spirits. The event presented a selection of premium wines paired with a menu curated exclusively for this celebration by Executive Sous Chef Denvers Rattan.
Stellar Steakhouse is honoured to be one of the only 2 restaurants in the capital winning the Wine Spectator’s 2020 Best of Award of Excellence. The restaurant takes pride in having the largest wine by glass selection with an extensive wine list of 470 international options and a full set of Pont des Arts. "We are truly honoured to receive this recognition. The team has worked tirelessly to showcase a remarkable restaurant, premium quality of ingredients and the best wines in the city" said Nicolas Plateau, Head of Food & Beverage at the InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72, which just celebrated its 3rd anniversary. "We celebrate wine every day through our menu pairings and wine events. This award is for our guests and partners. Thank you for sharing our love for great food and fine wines and spirits."
