Launched in 2018, True Hospitality for Good, IHG’s flagship program for charitable giving, is dedicated to make a positive difference to local communities on a global scale. During the annual Giving for Good month, IHG colleagues around the world are invited to come together and give back through donating, volunteering and raising awareness, embodying the spirit of True Hospitality.
This September, InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 organized a number of activities for the IHG Giving for Good campaign. The month-long campaign kicked off with our colleagues taking part in the Charity Garage Sale and Auction. A number of household items, gadgets, clothes, and toys, all in good condition, were donated by our colleagues and put on sale. All proceeds will be donated to the Community Responsibility Fund.
One of the initiatives organized was the Blood Donation campaign involving our colleagues in collaboration with the National Institute of Hematology & Blood Transfusion (NIHBT). This cause is part of the hotel’s support to the welfare of the community, helping to ease the shortage of local blood supply particularly this year with the increase on covd-19 cases in Vietnam.
Through the Lucky Draw for Employees activity, valuable prizes were given to our colleagues as a way to appreciate their continuous efforts and recognize them for delivering True Hospitality every day.
