Hanoi – On 29th September, InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 organized a blood donation initiative in association with the National Institute Of Hematology & Blood Transfusion (NIHBT). The campaign received a huge response of voluntary participation, not only from the hotel colleagues but from businesses in the district including FinOS Technology, China Telecom Information Technology, Fujitsu, E-Jung, Bao Viet, Calidas Landmark72 Royal Residence and Aon Vina.
The blood donation is part of IHG’s Giving for Good month and the hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility program. Over 115 units of blood were collected this year from the volunteers. Vietnam has a low blood bank supply as many volunteers stopped donating in the centers due to fear of contracting Covid-19 infection, so this was the perfect opportunity to drumbeat the campaign.
